Office365- Microsoft OneNote web App–error

Symptoms :-

In Microsoft OneNote Web App, when you click the to open a notebook in the OneNote desktop application, a below  error message is displayed.

“To open this notebook , Your computer must be running a version of Microsoft one note and browser that supports opening files directly from the office web apps. “

Resolution

1) First and most important things is your desktop should be installed with Office one note 2010

2) Make sure that you have setup and configure your office desktop apps, Refer last Post

3) Enable and Disable SharePoint open documents class add-ons
